[edit]This is a well-written, well-formatted article that pretty thoroughly describes the history and approach to the strip packing problem. As far as I can tell the presentation is neutral and balanced. Suggestions for improvement include (1) the definition section could use a source for beginners to learn more, and (2) it would be good to have an applications section--what real world impact does this problem and its solutions have? But those suggestions are not blockers and I think this article is ready for mainspace. Nice work. --{{u|Mark viking}} {Talk}

Missing section: online algorithms
[edit]The strip packing algorithm has been considered as an online problem as well. A section about this naming the algorithms and the strategies would be a good addition to this article.Malin Rau (talk) 10:44, 20 December 2019 (UTC)
Missing section: exact algorithms
[edit]For this problem there have been attempts to design reasonably fast exact algorithms. I think a section about these kind of algorithms would be a good addition to this article. Malin Rau (talk) 10:59, 20 December 2019 (UTC)
