Edits

I was instructed to comment are the edits I would like to add. After the last sentence in the intro I would like to add: Studio One is a long-standing member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau [1] chairing the Content Marketing Task Force. [2]

Then after the first clients line add: In 1999 Studio One and American Honda announced plans to produce and distribute the first series of syndicated programs for the internet. [3]

I have others but I don't want to overwhelm anyone Julia.mielczarek (talk) 18:08, 15 April 2014 (UTC)

Hi Julia. To add content to the article, we need sources that verify the facts, but also that verify the significance of these facts. For example, I believe based on the links you provided that Studio One is a member of those organizations, but I am not convinced their membership is anything of such historical note to be worth mentioning. That's because those are what we call primary sources (published directly by the organization itself). If a secondary source, like a profile story in a press article mentioned their involvement with these organizations, than it would be acceptable to include using that source. By the same token, someone could look up court records and start adding every trivial legal dispute the company has had, but we wouldn't include them unless credible, independent authorities like professional journalists took notice. Notability

Hey user:OrangeMike. I noticed you added a tag identifying the company to be of questionable notability. I accepted the article out of AfC, because it had two reliable sources where Studio One was the subject of the article and covered in reasonable depth (per WP:CORP) in Digiday and Media Post.

According to Digiday "the Studio One model turns the traditional content-farm model sideways" and MediaPost said it was "a leader in content syndication". I feel they are notable. Thoughts? CorporateM (Talk) 18:02, 15 April 2014 (UTC)

You're more the subject matter expert in this than I, Corp. --Orange Mike | Talk 17:23, 17 April 2014 (UTC)
