Airport-Manchester LineStyal Line — Seems official and common usage. Airport Line only seems to refer to the spur or a potential extension of the Manchester Metrolink Simply south 17:29, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment Frankly, I've never heard "Airport-Manchester Line" used in any official context, on the other hand "Styal Line" to me is the Wilmslow - Heald Green - Longsight - Piccadilly route and doesn't include the spur into the airport, so neither term strikes me as correct. -- Arwel (talk) 00:03, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have not seen any evidence that this is the official name. Indeed, Network Rail does not admit that the line has an official name. In that context, we would need to work on finding the best descriptive name, which is a very different question. It was requested that this article be renamed but there was no consensus for it be moved. --Stemonitis 06:29, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
