Plants.usda.gov puts Styrax in Subclass Dilleniidae, Order Ebenales. Are they wrong?

That's out of date - see APG II system - MPF 00:58, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Overlap with Benzoin_resin[edit]

Should more of the content be moved/merged to Benzoin resin?

A problem might be that Benzoin resin both forms a headline of its own and occurs under other headlines such as "Medical uses", but I think it should be able to work this out, shouldn't it?

It's just my opinion that it is not really overviewable when the uses of Benzoin resin are listed in two articles, one of which maybe rather should focus on the plant, with the other one dealing with the resin. Beryllium-9 (talk) 20:38, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, even better: the medical uses are also for benzoin resin, so let's just move and merge? I cannot see how it can be justified that the article Styrax contains even more about uses of benzoin resin than the article Benzoin resin does itself. Beryllium-9 (talk) 20:42, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
