[edit]Hi. I just redirected The Shepherd SuWu to this article (Su Wu). The content before being turned into a redirect is available here: <https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=The_Shepherd_SuWu&oldid=481474596>. --MZMcBride (talk) 02:09, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
Overt nationalism
[edit]Hi, I am an expert in East Asian history but not specifically in Chinese historiography. My sense is that the opening paragraph uncritically reflects the modern nationalist reading of Su Wu as a national hero who made the most of his time in exile. I would encourage future editors to present the story more neutrally before the article ideally goes on to entertain various interpretations of Su Wu's lore over history. Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.8.101.195 (talk) 13:50, 12 June 2022 (UTC)
