We need to remove editorial content ill-fittingly placed in the top of the article re West Papua

remove editorial content - the sentence alleged Indonesian control over Papua is illegal and genocidal which is one-sided view and unworthy on being put in Wikipedia — Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.160.18.39 (talk) 06:23, 5 July 2017 (UTC)

The garbage content in question was recently added by User:The Umbrage, a confirmed sockpuppet of User:Accopulocrat, who had previously been indeffed for posting similar content elsewhere on Wikipedia. I have purged all of the material added in contravention of Accopulocrat's richly deserved indefinite ban. This article has already gone through the GA process and such massive changes to the established, consensus lead would need to meet a higher bar than usual in any case.TheTimesAreAChanging (talk) 07:52, 5 July 2017 (UTC)
Apology to the IP above - simple summaries can be misleading - on re-examination of the IP and timesarechanging edits - I now understand the problem.
The article has always had problems as the legacy is hardly one that has 'easy' traction - there are aspects of his rule that do require some 'uncomfortable' parts of his (suharto) legacy to be adequately balanced - and that can be a problem. JarrahTree 08:42, 5 July 2017 (UTC)
