GA Review[edit]

Sorry, because there is a big backlog at WP:GAN#FILM, but I jumped in to nab this one early as it's one of my favourite episodes! Comments follow:

  • Repeated use of "kid/s" isn't really formal - I'd go with "child/ren", but it's not too big a deal
  • Lisa buys a new suit of clothes she believes - "clothes that she believes"
  • plots a revenge against Lisa - don't need "a"
  • there are "so much stuff" about summer vacations they felt - "there is/was" (but not plural); "vacations that they felt"
  • really likes the episode - not very formal, considering it's not a direct quotation
  • The animators researched many Cape Cod photographs - "researching photographs" doesn't make too much sense...
  • Josh Weinstein's parent's house in New Hampshire, which the writers had paid visit to many times - "parents' "; "to which the writers had paid visit many times"
  • Maybe mention something in the lead about the inspiration for the beach house, since that makes up the bulk of the production section (also don't need "the American actress")
  • Under cultural references, perhaps explain that Blossom is a character from the similarly-titled TV series
  • he buys a bunch of embarrassing stuff - "bunch", "stuff" are not encyclopedic at all
  • Lead spells out "twenty-fifth" but reception uses "42nd" - consistency
  • The website concluded its review - the website wasn't actually giving the review, it was a person... "She concluded her review" would do better.

Well done. I'll put the article on hold so you have a week to make changes. Good luck! —97198 (talk) 12:54, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for reviewing. I think I have addressed all of your concerns. :) TheLeftorium 14:59, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good :) I left-aligned the Christina Ricci image to avoid the white gap created because of the text being held down under the infobox. Nice work; I'll pass the article. —97198 (talk) 06:38, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Awesome, thanks! --TheLeftorium 14:17, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
