Why does this page exists?

There must be hundreds of Sunday Football League comps. --202.47.49.216 10:56, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Read the article where I believe the notability is quite prominently asserted : "It is notable as Perth's most popular Sunday competition, as the premier West Australian competition, the West Australian Football League is primarily played on a Saturday. Each week, around 5,000 spectators attend Sunday Football League matches." Additionally, results from the Sunday Football League are published in several newspapers across multiple states. I am sure that there are other Sunday Football Leagues out there. If you have an issue with this, why don't you create some articles for them and then create a disambiguation page, or rename it yourself, in which case I would create a redirect until such time as another page with conflicting title is created. Thanks. --Rulesfan 06:50, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is just AussiBall Rules PR spam. --202.47.51.124 18:52, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, it is not. Try a Google Search. The West Australian Sunday Football League ("Southern Football League" SFL) has a #1 ranking for a reason.

Other results are the Cambridge Sunday Football League, which is no more than a blog for a recreational competition, not something people pay to attend. There is also the SundayLeague Soccer Management Game, but this is not called the Sunday Football League, Rotherham and District Sunday Football League, THANET SUNDAY FOOTBALL LEAGUE, Ipswich Sunday Football League, Croydon Sunday Football League. Correct me if I am wrong, but none of these leagues are as big or as popular as the Sunday Football League in Perth. --Rulesfan 01:16, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Change the name to 'West Australian Sunday Football League'. Simple. Also, perhaps you could add some sources? CumberlandsAshes81 04:55, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
