Major Air Carrier?

[edit]

Why is Sunwing listed as a "major air carrier" in the stub when it only has eight planes in its fleet (two of which it is leasing out over the summer)? I can think of a dozen Canadian airlines that have more national and international presence than that. It is NOT a major carrier. Jon VS (talk) 02:16, 10 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Controversies

[edit]

I removed a large portion of this section, which was clearly biased against Sunwing Airlines (referring to "horror stories" and a "lack of morals"). The contents of online reviews are not themselves encyclopaedic content, and the unbalanced reporting of these reviews is not suitable for Wikipedia (as there are plenty of positive reviews as well!). 77.97.23.235 (talk) 20:46, 26 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fleet?

[edit]

The Sunwing website states that they have Boeing 767-300ER airliners for 300 pax each, however -apart that was mentioned that 2 used aircraft were leased- it doesn't reflect in the fleet section. See: [1]

Can anybody make any sense out of this and make the corrections according? Jurjenb (talk) 22:12, 12 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is an encyclopedia so we would not mention what you can carry as it is not really noteworthy, suggest you try the airline website or if not then try to contact them https://www.sunwingcares.ca/hc/en-us/articles/115000183534-Contact-us MilborneOne (talk) 17:35, 17 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Article rating

Think the article has enough information to be B class but is not written/organized enough well enough to be. Thoughts? Slowtationjet (talk) 03:32, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
