Possible move[edit]

Considering relocating to Super 4 (TV series'''). Having difficulty confirming a "Heroes United" subtitle. Put good faith in both Special:Diff/633598809 and Special:Diff/634102117 and have contacted users asking about their source. Can anyone find evidence of HU being an official subtitle? The subtitle "Heroes United" is definitely not an official subtitle of Super 4. It used to be a working title during the production, but later has been replaced by Super 4. So I would suggest to erase "Heroes United" from this article as, there is no official subtitle. --FanTomRun 16:03, 26 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I wonder if the disambiguation page Super 4 is really justified. There is nothing on there which is literally called "Super 4" apart from this TV series apart from a fictional pop group which has no wikipedia article anyway. I am inclined to delete that page and merge it with this one. Samatarou (talk) 03:17, 17 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sourcing[edit]

Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL The series is new and most sources will be French so this could be tricky but this may help. Ranze (talk) 05:34, 24 January 2015 (UTC) --78.144.209.163 (talk) 11:09, 25 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Reviews[edit]

I'm trying to make the article more encyclopedic by adding reviews and analysis of the series but (as tends to be the case with Childrens TV) it's hard to find anyone of note who has given the series the critical attention it deserves. All but one of the reviews I've found were by paid bloggers and so can't really be considered NPOV, though in the end I've quoted one such review anyway (Geek Dad) as I felt it was fairly balanced though I think it was only based on the first episode. Series 2[edit]

Does anyone know when the second series will actually air (or if it is even in production?) The reference for series 2 seems to be a dead link. Samatarou (talk) 02:34, 13 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Well it's finally started! It's really hard to get any reliable news about this series, it seems you just have to wait for the broadcasts to start. Samatarou (talk) 18:18, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Feature Film[edit]

I deleted the film section as there seems to be no basis for the claim of an upcoming Super 4 film or of a Super4 / Shimmer & Shine crossover, I suspect the latter may be a reference to a fanfic. The two series are made by different companies so a collaboration seems highly unlikely. If anyone can find an actual article or announcement with news of a planned movie they are welcome to reinstate the section, but as noted above official announcements about future plans for Super 4 are really hard to find! Looking into this a bit more, I see that there is definitely going to be a Playmobil film called Robbers, Thieves & Rebels (though the release date has slipped from 2017 to 2019), but although the animation is being done by the same studios as Super 4, the directing and scriptwriting is in the hands of ex-Disney people so it's not clear whether this will be a Super 4 film or not. I can't find any article which mentions "Super 4" in the same breath as "Playmobil film", which is not a good sign. Samatarou (talk) 01:02, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
