Toning down![edit]

I think this is not so bad- I'm toning down the overt ad-speak, though.

Well, I tried to tone down the ad speak, and got reverted. This is a professional magazine. It is quite possibly notable. spam is however not acceptable. The description given contains excessive spam--a discussion of how important the journal in laudatory terms and who ought to read it and the details or the various routine sections it covers is straight-forward advertising, otherwise known as spam. spam will be removed. See WP:SPAM, WP:COI, and WP:Business FAQ. Insertion of this sort of material, especially in an article written by an editor whose name is the same as the editor of the magazine, is not tolerated at WP. "Supply & Demand Chain Executive is a business technology magazine for supply chain executives at manufacturing and non-manufacturing companies and organizations, as well as public sector agencies, covering solutions and services for improving supply chain operations and efficiencies" this repeats the same thing 3 times. The same phrase is also repeated in the following partagraph, the one after that, and the one after that. Fluff. And what else is a possible audience but executives and manufacturing and non-manufacturing companies and organizations? DGG (talk) 07:59, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Completely agreed, even 16 years later. The majority of the article seemed to be directly copied from the company's website. Jebbikrebbi (talk) 14:02, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
