Why is deaths so important?

[edit]

On Fuji Speedway, I see a table of track records. Here, I see a table of deaths. What gives?

Is this the same Suzuka Circuit as the theme park?

[edit]

I found this Suzuka Circuit on RCDB today. We don't have any explanation or disambiguation about this in this article; does anyone know if the race track also hosted amusement park rides? --Idont Havaname (Talk) 04:12, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The webpage you found refers to the amusement park right next to the circuit, not the circuit itself —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 81.158.86.238 (talkcontribs) 16:44, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

Yes, that is Motopia, the amusement park portion of the Suzuka Circuit complex. Majin Izlude 06:00, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I corrected the coordinates of the circuit. The coordinates given are for the start/finish line, taken from Google Earth.--Ciroa 22:31, 18 September 2006 (UTC)--[reply]

I'm changing the lap record time as it must be a race lap, not a qualifying lap (as was michael Schumachers 1.28.9 lap in Q2 part of qualifying in 2006). This page used to have Raikkonen's lap record from the 2005 GP so i'm putting that back.

Suzuka is now back on the F1 Circuit for 2009 which i have added. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.195.82.33 (talk) 15:12, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Suzuka 8 hours apparance

[edit]

It has been suggested that endurance is written about here.

Also, in Popular Cultures it also has suggested to add Suzuka 8 Hours (arcade game). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.160.194.149 (talk) 00:03, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Turn References

[edit]

Throughout the article, "130R" and "200R" are used to refer to specific track corners, however the Track Diagram does not contain these references. The clarity is diminished in this article, without using the specific turn number as reference. It appears the older terms may be referenced in the Japanese Mtorcycle Grand Prix article - however incompletely. For clarity in this article, duplication of the turn number would be better. Lap records

[edit]

Lap records needs tidying, Ralf Schumacher has Hamilton's laptime from 2019 but Lap records section shows different laptime Rileykat21 (talk) 17:59, 10 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
