This car is, as far as i know, not available on the european market for more than a year. This information should be added.

That has to be the ugliest car I've ever seen!!

Mk. II section confusing

[edit]

the ugliest car ever made I've tagged this section as difficult to follow, unless the reader has a lot of background on the subject. Are the Holden Cruze and Chevrolet Cruze both examples of the Mk. II model, as the section title implies? I'm also puzzled by the sentence, "The main rivals in the Australian market were the Suzuki Jimny...". If both the Holden Cruze and Jimny are Suzuki-brand vehicles, is it accurate to call them rivals? There's also a contradiction between the text and Infobox here: one says the "Cruze was discontinued in 2006..." but the Infobox production dates given for the Holden Cruze are 2002–2008: which is correct?

Further confusing the reader is the next paragraph, which says Suzuki Europe introduced the second generation of the Ignis in 2003. Are we to understand that the Mk II was introduced as the "Cruze" in 2002 by Holden in Australia and by Chevrolet in Japan (not Suzuki??) and in 2003 by Suzuki in Europe? If so, the article should explicitly say it. If not, rewording is desirable.  JGHowes talk 23:56, 30 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Shouldn't it be just a small hatchback rather than a crossover? Crossover to where, specifically - to a kei car? It may look like a shrunk M-klasse, but still it's just a small (very small) hatch. NVO (talk) 08:38, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The last two links of the references (19 and 20), in detail their second link (the original) are not available and should be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexclai (talkcontribs) 13:17, 12 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Those links are now working again (the Internet Archive was not accessible earlier today). Thanks, OSX (talkcontributions) 09:43, 13 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The original Suzuki links ('the original') are not working. Because they are not available any more. So they have to be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.83.147.143 (talkcontribs) 12:52, 21 April 2011
That's why we have linked the archived versions. Just because the information is no longer being hosted on the Suzuki website does not mean we have to delete the reference, see Wikipedia:Using the Wayback Machine. OSX (talkcontributions) 13:28, 21 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
