The other meaning of "Suzy Creamcheese"

[edit]

How can I put this without sounding dumb, isn't Suzy Creamcheese also some kind of gross sexual referece of some kind? I think my mother told me it was?--Hailey 04:12, 15 January 2006 (UTC)

What about the psychedelic song "Suzy Creamcheese" by the Caesars....Doesn't the song refer to a groupie of the sixties? i believe this last remark is correct. there is a reference to a real groupie named suzy creamcheese in an older book about the rolling stones but i cannot remember the title. anita p august 28, 2006. Again, 'Suzy' was a contemporary of Frank's. Not a groupie, although many rockers of the time made her acquaintance e.g. Jim Morrison & others.

Isn't Suzy Creamcheese a clothing store? Editor437 (talk) 02:45, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Suzy Creamcheese was also a popular clothing store in Vegas with a designer of the same assumed name. The reference in Casino was about buying clothes from that store. Frank Zappa was also friendly withe designer Suzy Creamcheese whose real name is Leslie Dekaiser. She went to prison in the 80's for drugs. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.106.100.18 (talk) 01:11, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How about the single by Teddy and His Patches? This song is usually regarded as a classic 60s garage song, and what I was looking for when I found this page. I think it should at least be mentioned. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 148.197.5.19 (talk) 12:13, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I always thought she was based on Nico, of the Velvet Underground. Pustelnik (talk) 12:22, 13 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Above poster is correct, Susy creemcheese was a friend of Frank Zappas. She later worked on various movies as a costume designer. She was convicted of cocaine dealing and served time in prison for it in the 80s. She began her career as a dancer at the whiskey a gogo in the late 60s and briefly dated Jim Morrison. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.62.241.188 (talk) 00:43, 6 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I knew Suzy in London, and have added some details based on my recollections. I was sitting next to her in the Albert Hall when she and Zappa yelled to each other. Strange times! DOwenWilliams (talk) 04:07, 1 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Per WP:BLP and WP:V we cannot have an article on a (possibly) living person with no references. Meantime this article should be a redirect. If any decent sources are found, we can discuss here whether an article can be recreated. --John (talk) 19:44, 29 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. FWIW, see User talk:DVdm/Archive 2013#Watch article. - DVdm (talk) 20:06, 29 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Interesting. There probably could be an interesting article here if the right sources were found. --John (talk) 20:22, 29 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, and that's why I never filed for deletion of the article. Too bad, but not much harm done - DVdm (talk) 20:27, 29 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I'm going to forward this discussion to the real Suzy. She may comment on it, or she may decide that Wikipedia is not worth bothering with. We shall see.... DOwenWilliams (talk) 02:54, 30 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
