setting

[edit]

more specifically, it is set in a township in Becker County, Minnnesota. One can clearly see this in a screenshot which shows a letter addressed from Becker County

Her origins

[edit]

The page incorrectly claims Inge is mistaken for a German. While she does speak Norwegian, it is her secondary language that loosely lets her communicate with that other mail-order-bride and Olaf. She is German. Her name is German. The minister who could vouch for her identity is, go figure, from her home German town.Levelistchampion 22:54, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not a mail-order bride

[edit]

I realize that Netflix describes Inge as a Mail-order bride, but as a point of fact she is not. This is a marriage arranged by his parents, which is not the same thing. Simplex (talk) 06:06, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
