Show opening
[edit]I wonder where in this page would be put in the show's opening title segment, with different-colored vertical lines moving in all directions, being a possible inspiration for the memorable opening titles of New York television station WOR-TV's (now WWOR-TV) "The 4 O'Clock Movie" as used from c.1978 to 1982; the only difference being that WOR's movie show used as its theme a British stock-music piece, Neil Richardson's "The Riviera Affair" (c.1970), which has since been released commercially on at least two CD's; as well as clips from various films in channel 9's movie library at the time being shown instead of segments of various episodes as was the case with "Switch." –Wbwn 00:10, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

Switch (TV series) → Switch (American TV series) – Necessary disambiguation from Switch (British TV series), as per WP:INCDAB. Only sending this through a RM because it's been at this title so long. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 02:56, 11 July 2020 (UTC)
- No need for RM In ictu oculi (talk) 10:19, 11 July 2020 (UTC)
- I'm doing one because of WP:TITLECHANGES, and also because of the recent RfC on allowing more "primary subtopics" – an RM is better to gauge consensus on whether this is a "primary subtopic" or not. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 15:10, 11 July 2020 (UTC)
- Strong support Switch (South Korean TV series) gets 6,215 views compared to only 1,551[[1]] for the American one and 228 for the British one. Even ignoring the South Korean TV series the ratios for the other 2 probably wouldn't be enough to have a PDAB which per the RFC have a higher threshold. - Agree that there's likely no "primary subtopic" here, esp. when you look over one year of page views: [2] --IJBall (contribs • talk) 18:50, 11 July 2020 (UTC)
- Support no primary subtopic. TheTVExpert (talk) 20:19, 11 July 2020 (UTC)
- Support and speedy close - Seems like NOPRIMARY and this rename is exactly in accordance with WP:NCTVUS. Fix links using the old title and redirect it to Switch (disambiguation)#Television. -- Netoholic @ 08:24, 14 July 2020 (UTC)
