Pantazzi was enrolled in 1922 in the College Féminin de Bouffemont, at Bouffemont, south of Paris, a private school with an international student body. I have other questions. In 1937–1938, Sybille Pantazzi catalogued the extensive library of Austro-Hungarian books and albums of a country neighbour, Count Zsigmond (Sigismund) Mikes (1867-1951) [Mikes's estate and library was confiscated by the Romania state on 2 March 1949]. The following year, Elisa Bratianu asked her to report on the library of some 20,000 volumes in the Bratianu Foundation, opened in 1938 [confiscated by the Romanian state in 1946]. A further question: Commander Pantazzi and Ethel Pantazzi owned the château de Montargis in France and kept their book collections there, with those of Sybille Pantazzi, which were devastated by the Nazis in 1940.
