Assessment comment

[edit]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:TECO Energy/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

The final sentence in the article references "TECO, Inc." which is a different company, not TECO Energy. The reference points to a company headquartered in Fort Wayne Indiana, not TECO Energy (which is headquartered in Tampa Florida). TECO Inc. is a maker of aerial lifts and digger derricks; TECO Energy is an energy company. I will remove the last sentence of the article.

Post-Emera Acquisition

[edit]

Curious as to when it will be appropriate to remove financial information for the old, Pre-Emera, stand-alone, TECO Engery, Inc. The links are currently dead, and while there's no reason to believe they are/were inaccurate, it will become difficult to independently confirm these numbers. In addition, the numbers become less and less relevant with passing years. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.168.21.186 (talk) 22:15, 7 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
