Taco Bell Costa Rica

100% American

Taco Bell specializes in Mexican-American style food and American-style Mexican food. The article incorrectly describes the American products distributed by Taco Bell as "Mexican". Taco Bell Shootings

It has been a recent turn of events where some dumbasses shot up a local Taco Bell in Grand Rapids,MI. The stupid assholes shot the fuck out of the place and didn't rob it. I blame Urbana.

Just found an annoying problem in this section. After the part about the Taco Bell in Greenwich Village that was infested with rats, it says "The outbreak has caused the closings of several Taco Bells in the Northeast". What about a "In Popular Culture" section? At least one reference would be the movie Demolition Man, where sometime in the 20-teens (2011-2019) Taco Bell won the franchise war and all resturants were thereafter named Taco Bell. Domninican Republic section?

"The Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Canada are the only countries where Taco Bell offers french fries"

Terrible article

This article reads like a cleverly disguised attack against Taco Bell. Most articles with a "Controversies" section have that section further down the page. Here, however, it's the second section. Before the "Menu" section. On a page about a restaurant. And the majority of the information on this page is presented in unconnected, trivia-style factoids. The only seemingly fully-fleshed out section is the aforementioned "Controversies" section.

I'm not arguing that we not present any problems created by the subject of this article, but in the land of reality, people go to a Taco Bell to eat cheap tacos, not rail about the degree to which 50 Cent is pissed off. By which I mean: an article should begin by describing what its subject is, its history, and what it's known for, then present controversies it may be involved in. You know, like the overwhelming majority of articles on Wikipedia are written.

Notability versus temporary notability

We must understand the difference between true notability and temporary notability. Even if events are covered by a reliable source, it does not mean they are notable. We must remember that even if an entry is verifiable, it may not be notable. If you look at the notability guidelines for events, you will find that allot of these "controversies" are mainly recentism and would better covered in Wikinews and not in the article itself.
