Restoration of material[edit]

I have restored a swath of material removed last October, cited as "spam". This seemed to me too sweeping. IF the Taft brothers are sons of President Taft, that is relevant, as is much of the other material. I have toned some of the verbiage down a little though. I also removed the following section: However I am aware that this is exactly the sort of material that supports claims to notability so I have pasted it here.

Major Cleanup[edit]

This article, was largely written by one editor, who edited almost nothing besides this article. The article read like a PR brochure. I didn't even bother to check if it was lifted from the Taft website. It was loaded with bullet points which gave it a PR appearance, so those are gone. The "Awards" section was undocumented and pure PR. It's gone. I'll give the editor with a COI problem a stern note at his/her Talk page. Tapered (talk) 08:07, 9 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
