split-tagging[edit]

Why the split suggestion? It's not like it's huge or unreadable... Chris (クリス • フィッチ) (talk) 17:11, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Because dab content and name content should not be mixed. Split has been done to defuse any confusion. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 18:36, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Instead of referring to my request for an explanation as confusion on my part, why don't you show me where it says this must be done? Chris (クリス • フィッチ) (talk) 12:57, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

武田/竹田[edit]

The article lead-in only talks about 武田 and completely ignores 竹田. Obviously both, and possibly other, writings are possible, as the list of people of that name shows both the (presumably) prominent 武田 Takeda clan, as well as the (presumably) commoner 竹田 Takeda, plus a good many without kanji; this should at least be mentioned, and better yet, the various etymologies explained. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:A62:1A43:C901:3C46:85E9:60A8:B78A (talk) 08:59, 24 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
