Samurai family

Since the samurai class distinction was largely eliminated in the 1870s, no one can say they were born into a samurai family in 1960. This might refer to a family descended from samurai, or it might be a part of this artist's jocular or fake profile, but it cannot be stated as fact. I assumed that would be clear. At first, I thought much of his biography was a joke, but all of it seems accurate (the ridiculous titles like "International Man of the Year" were probably given by the American Biographical Institute). The claim that he is descended from samurai also appears in other sources, but I've removed it to be safe. InverseHypercube (talk) 17:20, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
