Acceptance rationale

[edit]

I considered WP:NOTCRYSTAL because the corporation does not yet exist. Yet it is notable. To resolve this paradox I accepted the draft. The community is wiser than I am as a lone reviewer. I had considered both acceptance and immediate neutral nomination at WP:AFD so we could sort this out Fiddle Faddle 11:40, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Why the Talen Energy article does not fall under WP:NOTCRYSTAL guidelines.
  • The event is verifiable – numerous reliable independent secondary sources have commented.
  • The event is noteworthy – large company noted in mainstream news
  • The event will almost certainly to take place – most analysts expect 2nd quarter 2015 completion; no speculation here.
  • There is no undue bias
  • There is no attempt of advertising
  • The event is already in progress – offices exist, a CEO has been named. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has granted conditional approval.
  • There is no OR

Declined PROD

[edit]

I declined the almost immediate PROD because I believe this deserves a fuller discussion. WP:AFD is the best venue for this to take place in my view. It is not often that we have a non existent thing that appears to have notability. Fiddle Faddle 11:40, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Help needed

[edit]

As this is a new article about a new company, much help will be needed to expand it. The situation is very fluid and since it appears to be fast-tracked new information may appear daily. You can help by being on the lookout for: governmental approvals, company logo, website address, entities that will not be part of the final approval or are mark as needed to spun off, more accurate numbers for employees, revenues, and income, permanent headquarters, stock symbol, and important dates to name a few.

As always reliable, independent, secondary sources will be required for verification. Thank you in advance for your help. Grahamboat (talk) 21:20, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
