Poorly Researched

Substantial portions of this article are horribly researched and clearly opinion based. This should include a history section told roughly in the following periods - early period, MCA period, CAA period. There are so many things not referenced here in this.

There are also just completely useless pieces of information. "A talent agent must be familiar with their clients." Why is that even included?

The inclusions and omissions here are just bizarre. First, only four clients are listed for UTA and eighteen for CAA? Not particularly the most unbiased.

Packaging is described in two lines and starts with Bill Murray and Harold Ramis?! There was packaging prior to this. CAA packaged TV years before the package cited.

There were things like "agents can't produce" that I already took out that are just wrong. MCA was an agency that Ronald Reagan specifically granted an exception to so it could produce television. Additionally, UTA has produced new media content directly.

Huge portions should just be scraped.

How is top modeling agent defined? Should model and music agents even be in the same article in some sense?

And booking agents for Cruises? Seriously?

I think a major edit should be separating talent agencies and booking agencies into separate articles just for clarity. I also think that fewer of these should be headings and instead should be bullet points under "Types of agencies." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Agenthayden (talkcontribs) 05:28, 4 September 2013 (UTC)
