Hello, this is the press office at TalkTalk. The article on TalkTalk Plus TV could do with an update, as we now have two TalkTalk TV products: TalkTalk Essentials TV and TalkTalk Plus TV. It would be more accurate to have the page headline as TalkTalk TV or YouView from TalkTalk, and then describe the two products below?

TalkTalk Essentials TV is the budget version of TalkTalk TV. It includes a YouView from TalkTalk set top box, made by Huawei, which receives Freeview channels through a terrestrial TV aerial, and IPTV channels through a broadband connection. The Essentials set top box can pause and rewind up to 30 minutes of live TV.

TalkTalk Plus TV includes a YouView from TalkTalk, made by Huawei, which includes a PVR with space for recording more than 200 hours of TV.

IPTV channels and catch up are not delivered via a BT line, this is wrong. TalkTalk operates a fully unbundled network and provides its own lines (although it uses the infrastructure contractor BT Openreach to carry out work on its behalf).

I hope this clears things up! I don't want to upset anybody by editing the article myself so thought I would post here instead. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TalkTalk Press Office (talkcontribs) 11:46, 16 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
