Palmer

[edit]

I cannot find this under sheet XI in Palmer, E. H. (1881). The Survey of Western Palestine: Arabic and English Name Lists Collected During the Survey by Lieutenants Conder and Kitchener, R. E. Transliterated and Explained by E.H. Palmer. Committee of the Palestine Exploration Fund....it should be there, as it is mentioned in SWP. Has Palmer missed it, or am I missing something? Checked it again...it definitely looks as if Palmer missed it, Huldra (talk) 21:49, 13 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
User:Huldra, Perhaps Palmer did not mention it, but the place is mentioned in the "Survey of Western Palestine - A General Index," compiled by Henry C. Stewardson in 1888. You can find it here, on page 65. Its entry is for "Tŭllûza (Sh. 11,)" where it says that it is identified with Tizrah (sic) (should be: Tirzah) and Thersa.Davidbena (talk) 00:34, 14 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
User:Davidbena, yes, I know, that is the references to the Conder and Kitchener pages (You can check: they are all in the article). The Palmer refs give in a different reference−register, at the end...except that Talluza/Tŭllûza isn't there.....it should have been at around page 147. (I have also checked in Palmer, directly (the register is sometimes wrong): but still nothing) Huldra (talk) 23:56, 16 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Not there. Zerotalk 10:42, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
