Some suggestions for development

[edit]

This article could do with more information on Thameemul Ansari's life. at the moment it's a copy of some of the Hazrat Thameemul Ansari (Rah) Dargah article and if they are to remain so similar they should probably be merged. But I can see a good case for keeping them separate and developing this into a piece that documents Thameemul Ansari's life and impact as a saint while the Hazrat Thameemul Ansari (Rah) Dargah article concentrates on the shrine itself, and its history and role. The dargah article mentions that Thameemul Ansari is considered a very powerful saint by some. Is that just because of his status as one of the Sahaba? Or are there other things that could be said about him? -- Siobhan Hansa 18:26, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Can I edit ?

[edit]

The history of Hazrath Tameem Ansari goes back to 7th century AD, that too as a Sahaba (companion) he was a contemporary of Prophet Muhammad, and sahaba in Kasargod & Kodangalur of Kerala Hazrath Malik Bin Dinar. While in this article I saw that he was buried by Arcot nawab Muhammad Ali Khan who belonged to 17th Century AD, a thousand years difference. I feel some editors out of curiosity entered this. I want to make some changes in this article according the contemporary history. Hope the Admins and Bureaucrats agree with me. Ahmed Nisar (talk) 11:07, 24 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
