Still, the wording "Tanto monta, monta tanto, Isabel como Fernando" is actually a popular saying invented many centuries later, not the real motto. Besides, and contrary to popular belief, it was only the motto of King Ferdinand of Aragon, and never used by Isabella.[1]

Does anyone see a problem with these 2 sentences. How was this the motto of Ferdinand if it was not invented until many centuries later. I think this article could use a good cleanup. 2601:6:1D00:508:213F:7282:EF80:8DC7 (talk) 23:11, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
