- Comment: Lots of great options for hooks here.

- QPQ good, article new at time of nom, long enough. Well written and sourced. Not sure some of the song details necessarily belong in "style", but no objections really."
All the hook facts check out and are cited in-line, though alt2 might be pushing it a bit, with Field being featured on the opening tracks not necessarily "opening" them. No issues with the other three, let a promoter choose. Kingsif (talk) 17:27, 8 March 2024 (UTC)- Thanks for the review! I disagree on ALT2 (I think the source describing Field as opening the acts would probably be good enough for the hook), but it's probably my least favourite of the hooks anyway - ALT1 and ALT3 are my favourites. Out of curiosity, what would you suggest for the song details section? I've been thinking of renaming the section, but I don't know what to. Suntooooth, it/he (talk/contribs) 17:37, 8 March 2024 (UTC)
- Honestly, some of the details would be better suited to being included in "composition" and "reception" sections of articles about the songs/a detailed article about the album, I don't think there's a generic section you could make for them at the artist article unless it was just "Songs". Good work on the article, Suntooooth! I have a few comments below for ya:
Comments
[edit]Prose
[edit]- Consider expanding the lead section! A two-sentence lead is too short; I suggest adding information about the band's start and their musical style.
- Under Tapir!#History, "
Tapir! is made up of...
" – "is made up" to "consists". - In the same section: "
While the band formed in 2019, they only began releasing music in 2022.
" – how about re-wording this to "The band began releasing music in 2022, although they formed three years prior in 2019
". - Also in the same section: "
They released "My God" (their first single, written during the COVID-19 pandemic)...
", how about "They released "My God" as their first single, written during the COVID-19 pandemic"? - "
performing at Paper Dress Vintage
" – perhaps a bit of information on the Paper Dress Vintage would improve context at the performance venue. :) - "
a being travelling through a fictional world of green hills
" – maybe "a being travelling" could be re-worded? I'm confused as what it's supposed to mean. (And green hills mentioned? ;) [Joke])
Spotchecks
[edit]I spotchecked multiple sources, only two concerns:
- "
written during the COVID-19 pandemic
" – the provided DIY magazine source doesn't verify this. - "
Also in August 2022, they performed at Green Man Festival.
" – The source does state that the band performed at the festival (which I'll assume is the festival given that the source states Green Man Rising, which seems like it) in 2022, but doesn't verify the month, which is August.
Other
[edit]- The PIAS source shouldn't have [PIAS] as it's website; just PIAS is okay!
- Unless I'm missing something, I don't see the published date for the second DIY magazine source.
- Five of the band's members in the given section are without sources. They are all covered in the PIAS source, so just add the sources to the unsourced members and that'll be it.
That's all I've got! I'll leave this open for at least two weeks; given that you've notified me of your holiday plans. Thanks! :) ~ Tails Wx (🐾, me!) 21:31, 27 March 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you so much for the detailed review!
- All prose issues fixed as far as I can tell - let me know if the lead needs any more expanding or tweaking, leads are 100% what I'm worst at when writing full articles :P I removed the part about Paper Dress Vintage since I don't think it's necessary.
- As for sources, I fixed the first issue (must've just been that I put the wrong reference name) and added a citation to a Green Man 2022 review that has the date of the festival in it. If there's a better way to do that, let me know!
- Fixed two of the other issues; the published date for the second DIY magazine source was autofilled by RefToolbar, but it's also listed on the author's contributor page with a date.
- Let me know if I've missed anything! Suntooooth, it/he (talk/contribs) 13:46, 3 April 2024 (UTC)
- Great, @Suntooooth! I still think the lead could be expanded a sentence or two more, once that's done, I'll be happy to promote this. :) ~ Tails Wx (🐾, me!) 19:02, 3 April 2024 (UTC)
