NPOV[edit]

Having "she is the best snowboarder in the world" in 128 places in the article is totally not keeping in neutral point of view. (Besides the fact that isn't even true). In addition, the English in this article is a little sketchy, probably it was written by someone who knows English as their second language. This article needs clean-up.--Esprit15d 15:31, 20 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like all the "best"s have been cleaned up, so it's time for the NPOV tag to go. CSWarren 01:25, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use[edit]

The lead image in this article Image:TaraDakides.jpg does not comply with Wikipedia's fair use policy. To comply there need to be some critical content about the magazine itself, which will be difficult given that the publication name has been cropped out. The licensing has been changed from {{magazinecover}} to {{promotional}} recently as well. It's either one or the other. A rationale for the fair use (see Help:Image page for more info) needs to be placed on the image page or the image will again be removed, and tagged for deletion. I've removed the image and moved the SI image to the top. Kevin 09:40, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Plagarism[edit]

It appears that several entire sentences and a few hacked apart sentences are taken directly from Tara's biography on her official website. These need to be removed.

Wikify[edit]

There are at least two words which appear to be misspellings for others (that's not rare in minor sportspeoples' articles). Dates should not have square brackets. Some bits read like ads. I have linked several terms in the article to draw attention to the fact that most folk do not know what they mean. Should uc be used for divisions of sports? I think not, could you argue that the less esoteric such as "free style" ought to be glorified with capitals? Really all sportsy and musicky articles ought to go into separate Wikis.--SilasW 18:01, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
