Dionysius[edit]
I have created this article using Livy. If anyone has time, it would be great to include some references and info from Dionysius of Halicarnassus. I understand his history contains some variations on Livy's account.--Urg writer (talk) 11:03, 15 February 2011 (UTC)
Notability[edit]
I don't think there is any coverage of this as conspiracy in current reliable sources. The only thing I can find on Scholar that is written by a classicist is a footnote in Wilson Dictator (2021) which just says Tarquinian conspiracy: Livy 2.3–5; Dion. Hal. 5.6–13; Plut. Publ. 3–7; Oros. 2.5.2
. The HQRS coverage of this putative event seems to be an appendage on the Overthrow of the Roman monarchy. Before doing anything, however, I'll check Ogilvie's commentary some time to see what he thinks. iirc doublet with Catilinarian conspiracy. Ifly6 (talk) 04:11, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
