Merge with Tasaday Controversy

[edit]

This page should be reverted to the content that is currently on Tasaday controversy, and then the Tasaday controversy page should be deleted. Kborer (talk) 02:20, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I support this. Proposing merge.-- OBSIDIANSOUL 03:43, 16 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

MERGE PROPOSAL DISCUSSION

[edit]

The article Tasaday controversy is proposed to be merged with this article (Tasaday). The former article (Tasaday controversy) seems to be more of a subsection (the article itself even has a Controversy subsection). Regardless of whether it is a hoax or not, it's better that the article be named simply Tasaday, instead of centering it on the controversy (bear in mind, people will search for Tasaday rather than Tasaday controversy).-- OBSIDIANSOUL 04:03, 16 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion is open. Please state clearly why you support or don't support the merging proposal.

Article Tasaday controversy merged into Tasaday. Article still suffers from possible POV entries, needs more references, needs review and cleanup.-- OBSIDIANSOUL 11:38, 26 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article miss some points on the latest data. Most people tend to believe it was not hoax. And there were evidence later. Confusion about dating

[edit]

Seems to be some confusion or lack of clarity about dates here - March 1972 is mentioned as the first meeting with press, but Nat Geog had already run a short article in December 1971 "First glimpse of a stone age tribe". Any experts here to take a look? --Mervyn (talk) 12:51, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

POV

Manuel Elizalde was the Presidential assistant on National Minorities, a government official. He was not a "known crony" of President Marcos.Royalcourtier (talk) 03:38, 6 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
