Numbers would do wonders. Statistics sourced from newspapers about how many pay taxes and how widespread the tax dodging is.Pär Larsson (talk) 19:03, 26 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dr. Cyan's comment on this article

[edit]

Dr. Cyan has reviewed this Wikipedia page, and provided us with the following comments to improve its quality:

Taxation in Pakistan is mostly indirect. It should be mentioned that due to weak tax administration, Government of Pakistan raises most of its revenue through general sales tax, excise duty and other indirect taxes. A new book on this topic will be 'Taxation for Pakistan's Revival' by Jorge-Martinez-Vazquez and Musharraf Rasool Cyan, Oxford University Press, 2015. It is in print and will be out any time. This will have a lot more to add to this topic.

We hope Wikipedians on this talk page can take advantage of these comments and improve the quality of the article accordingly.
