Using the www.plagiarisma.net website, I found no evidence of plagiarism among the newly added content. Xmrlmem (talk) 02:05, 6 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Does the draft submission reflect a neutral point of view? If not, specify…
- Yes, there is no language that makes it seem as if their opinions or biases are included. This group is sure to make sure that their edits are fact based and they utilize sources that are reputable. Mquindoy (talk) 16:29, 6 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The group did a good job providing course of treatment for patients based on their volume status, and used multiple secondary sources to substantiate their points. It would be interesting to learn more about the prevalence of the syndrome since the New York Times article that was cited was published in 2005. Aside from that, the content was neutral and they were able to achieve their overall goals.

UCSF CIC Group 9 2021[edit]

L Notes For epidemiology -> article with statistics in Canada in Bayshore article, reference this community survey. Maybe look for surveys/epi in other countries?

Add other signs/risk factors like dental issues from Bayshore article and companion PDF

Add simple mechanism for hyponatremia from tea/toast syndrome

J Notes Add section “Signs and Symptoms”: include differential diagnosis of hyponatremia in eldery Add Section “Prevention”: add ideas from article about eating with others Add section “Screening”: add two screening tools for elderly malnutrition

Peer Review[edit]

Overall I think the article has really improved with your contributions. As depression is a risk factor, I think it would be good to mention potential interventions to reduce depression or loneliness in the elderly in your prevention section. Also, is there any discussion of elder abuse or neglect in any of your sources? If so it could be good to include that. Simc823 (talk) 03:28, 15 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This was a useful organization and expansion of the existing information. If the information is available, it would be valuable to include a section on epidemiology that describes that typical age range that Tea & Toast Syndrome might affect and/or the prevalence. --Medits24 (talk) 15:47, 15 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
