excessive images

The images going down the side are rather excessive, perhaps a gallery would be appropriate? Even on a fairly narrow browser they are longer than the text itself, this is unnecessary. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Telmac (talk • contribs) 06:51, 10 December 2014 (UTC)

You are basically right. Image use is excessive here but tea houses have so many faces, all of which are kind of relevant. Narrowing it down, it should have at least one fancy british tea house and a classical japanese or chinese one. Any other, like indian, eastern and western europe, could be moved to a gallery with a discussion about architecture or removed alltogether since it's somewhat well ordered on Commons anyway. — Yamavu (talk) 00:22, 16 December 2014 (UTC)

Tea houses are not limited to any specific country. If the article about tea house (or, for that matter, the article about supermarket, hospital etc) was categorized for every country mentioned in the article then that would cause such articles to be in a very large number of categories (and the category tags would often need changing - e.g. if you add a photo of a tea house in Fooistan to the article would you then add a Fooistan category?). That simply isn't how we normally categorize in Wikipedia. DexDor ^(talk) 05:19, 27 July 2016 (UTC)
