Leipheimer joins RadioShack?

[edit]

Armstrong said on his Twitter something about Leipheimers RadioShack sallary: http://twitter.com/lancearmstrong/status/3314351083 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.94.193.245 (talk) 21:12, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Great tip! Sadly we don't know the context, so I don't think it can go in the article yet. --Hroðulf (or Hrothulf) (Talk) 21:23, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Landis

[edit]

Armstrong:“I wouldn’t rule anything out, Floyd is a great rider, a tremendous story.” Is that enough to add him to the "possible riders identified by press reports and interviews" section? ErikHaugen (talk) 21:56, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sports Director

[edit]

The article claims Dirk will be the sport director, while the fan site (linked at the bottom of the page) claims Viatcheslav Ekimov... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.91.27.19 (talk) 16:03, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article cites an August article in Cycling News (still online - see the footnote). The fan site doesn't say where it got its information. It would help the article if you could research if the team have made any announcements about this post since August. --Hroðulf (or Hrothulf) (Talk) 08:58, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Riders

[edit]

A new video came out today on Youtube featuring the members on Team Radioshack. I have not looked for any sources, but thought I should put it here so someone can add this to the article http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEh0L8YIPIw —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.41.34.201 (talk) 02:32, 13 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Team jersey

[edit]

I have tried unsuccessfully to add the Team RadioShack jersey image to this page. The image can be found here:

http://www.uciprotour.com/Modules/SUCI/TEAMS/TeamDetails.asp?id=NDA3MQ&RefDate=21.06.2010&MenuId=MTU4MzI&LangId=1&BackLink=%2Ftemplates%2FUCI%2FUCI2%2Flayout.asp%3FMenuId%3DMTU4MzI%26LangId%3D1

If anyone is more skilled at Wikipedia than me, please add this. All other teams have their logos shown. I can't add this one without getting "speedy deletion" notices.

Logos can be included as "fair use" but unfortunately jerseys can't. There is a facility to make one as part of the infobox but it is rather difficult to master. SeveroTC 05:38, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Merger?

[edit]

At the moment, I do not think that the Radioshack/Leopard Trek situation should be referred to as a merger. Radioshacks World Tour licence is not being renewed, and from the end of the year Radioshack will no longer be a cycling team. Radioshack and Nissan are moving their sponsorship to the Luxembourg Cycling Project (Leopard Trek), but Leopard will still hold the licence, still be based in Luxembourg. Some of Radioshacks riders are moving to the Leopard team, and it is rumoured that Johann Bruyneel will also move, but at the moment these stories are only coming from the Radioshack camp. Flavio Becca is very clear on what he considers the situation is, and is not reffering to it as a merger. http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/becca-confirms-nygaards-departure-from-leopard-trek 90.193.213.45 (talk) 23:20, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
