Keep rationale

[edit]

It is my contention that this work meets the criteria for musicians and ensembles based on criteria 1 and 7:

  • #1: The work has been covered in a variety of media and as been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent from the musician or ensemble itself and reliable.
  • #7: Is a prominent representation of a notable style (geek rock). More importantly it is one of the first geek “girl group” productions to see wide release, making it a seminal work of an emerging style. —Preceding unsigned comment added by NorthernDragon (talkcontribs) 13:30, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

New video by them

[edit]

It's probably not particularly notable - which is why I didn't edit it into the article - but they made a new video: A Very Zombie Holiday. --V2Blast (talk) 17:38, 2 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 2 external links on Team Unicorn. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Infobox image

[edit]
Team Unicorn (original line-up) at Long Beach Comic & Horror Con 2011

The image to the right was added to the infobox on July 26, 2015, then removed on August 5, 2015 with the comment: Since Michele Boyd has not been a part of the group for several years, this does not accurately portray the group. I think it should be put in the infobox, since:

  • it does portray the group at founding, which is not any less important than at current
  • they got their notability with their starting line-up, not with the current one.

Less importantly:

  • it does portray 3 of the 4 current members; and
  • we don't have any freely licensed image of the group at current (I looked, which is why there is another image of the group later in the article - again at founding, not at current lineup).

I gather User:108.185.108.164 disagrees. Let's talk, and see if we can come to agreement, or whether anyone else has any other opinions. --GRuban (talk) 18:17, 7 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Since there isn't a current picture, it's better than nothing, and the caption already indicates it's an old lineup. It can be updated to a picture of the new lineup should such a picture come up in Commons. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 18:53, 7 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
User:108.185.108.164 tried to post another picture of the group using this one but it looks to be a duplicate of the one at comingsoon.net [1]. It's also the one they have been using as their icon on Twitter. [2] AngusWOOF (barksniff) 18:29, 27 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
