Is there interest in a page that lists "Big little technical failures" like:
- 1912 Titanic sinking
- 1969 Santa Barbara oil spill
- 1986 Challenger explosion
- 1986 Chernobyl explosion
- 2010 Deepwater Horizon blowout
- 2021 Ever Given grounding
- 2021 Champlain Towers collapse
They are relatively 'little' (compared to disasters) in the numbers of people or square kilometers affected, but big in their newsworthiness and the surprise they generate. They often lead to significant changes in designs or rules.--Lee De Cola (talk) 03:35, 30 June 2021 (UTC)
