[edit]The article, as it is right now, seems to be kind of jumbled. The first paragraphs state that they use AMPS,GSM,TDMA but no mention of UMTS is made; this is mentioned in a later part of an article. While it is somewhat relevant as the 3G network deployment started recently (July 2008), the current article looks like it contradicts itself, as it doesn't list UMTS initially. 148.223.197.98 (talk) 14:58, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Telcel.gif
[edit]Image:Telcel.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:01, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
Image is perfectly ok to post but read on
[edit]Article appears to be written by Telcel, therefore the image is rightfully theirs to post. However, to invoke the Fair Use rationale is misleading since the article was clearly written by someone with the company.N. Macchiavelli 20:27, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
Biased article
[edit]Anyone notices a biased article? This looks more like a sales pitch than a company description. I'm Mexican and know that Telcel is highly criticised for monopolic practices and poor customer service, none of this is mentioned in the article —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.117.33.135 (talk) 14:42, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
- you are right, this article looks like advertising. Telcel has a notoriously bad name. This article needs to be revised. Mixcoatl (talk) 02:04, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
- I absolutely agree that a promotional tone is evident throughout this article and have commenced cleaning it up for both tone and Wiki standards.--Soulparadox (talk) 07:42, 14 October 2012 (UTC)
Missing Citation in Multiple Sections of Page
[edit]Hi. I noticed sections such as "Sales and distribution," "Customer service," and "3G Technology" are all missing vital citations. This appears to be a direct violation of WP:VER.--CTP4201 (talk) 18:58, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
Missing Current Sources
[edit]Hi. I noticed this page references sources that are relatively out of date.--CTP4201 (talk) 19:14, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
