Correction

[edit]

Could Somebody please correct the section about the Pagan temple, i'm fairly certain the reference supplied does not state this, and this theory is most likely boundless ( I was actually warned by an academic that has studied the site not to use this page due to that claim) Manktelr (talk) 06:20, 7 December 2011 (UTC)manktelr[reply]

If you have the source and can verify it yourself, you should fix it. --Muhandes (talk) 08:25, 8 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Well it is up on Google Books and it does say on p. 378 that this was supposedly a heathen temple...according to this author. I've read a newer book on the churches in the Burren and there was no mention of this at the Cronan entry. I believe that there actually was an earlier church at the same site, but it was early Christian, not heathen. And there is no way they worshipped Chronos, a Greek titan. This is total hogwash.Drow69 (talk) 16:29, 21 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Unreliable Source

[edit]

On another note, this http://www3.nd.edu/~archire/sites2005/TheBurrenHomepage.html appears to be a private website, which therefore is not considered a reliable source as per WP:SPS. We should probably get rid of it...Drow69 (talk) 11:40, 16 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
