Objectivity

[edit]

This entry needs to be re-written. It reads like some of the Vatican-originated articles on saints. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.129.119.92 (talk) 00:02, 17 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

POV

The martyrs phrase in the title has POV problem.Saff V. (talk) 11:23, 5 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"era of the Mishnah"

[edit]

this needs to be clarified; explained if it is a thing, or given actual dates. The article does not seem to dwell on historical details. --142.163.194.244 (talk) 20:36, 6 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Historical issue

[edit]

This article is about rabbis martyred under emperor Hadrian's reign (117-138). However, it refers erroneously to the aftermath of the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 CE, at the end of the First Jewish–Roman War, whereas it should refer to the Bar Kokhba revolt (i.e. the Second Jewish–Roman War) in 132–136 CE, precisely when Hadrian was emperor.
