Merge proposal[edit]

Any objections to merging Tennessee Cove into Tennessee Valley? The NPS is using Tennessee Valley as the name for this area. The Cove is a feature of the valley. Thoughts?Bkmertz (talk) 00:24, 13 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The idea is a reasonable one. However, I'd prefer to keep the articles separate. I disagree with your analysis of the situation. The cove isn't a feature of the valley any more than the valley is a feature of the cove. As I see it, the two landforms are discrete subjects, each worthy of its own article. Well, actually ... the cove is where the valley hits the water and both subjects are very short, and both share the name Tennessee Valley (for search reasons), so in practice, a merge would probably be smart. But I amn't going to disturb no sleeping dogs, so Stepheng wins for now :P 210.22.142.82 (talk) 08:37, 25 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
