This article is a joke, it is a somewhat good starter though. For example, "controversial" part is personal bias - there needs to be a "controversy" section if there is any basis of controversy at all.

There is no any scientific basis for a controversy here, but this woman has became all a public person in Spain thanks to the popularity of a youtube video --you see, a very trustful reference ;-)--. I have included a link to El País, one of the most important newspapers of Spain, where some public health experts criticize her arguments. I think the best written entry is the one in català.--Pedrojwiki (talk) 19:07, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If sister Forcades would not conform to Catholic Church behavior, it is clear that she would have been expelled from it. This article itself is "controversial"... Alister —Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.214.127.46 (talk) 14:02, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The "debunking" video is not well documented (as the link states) and uses a Loquendo-anoymous voice. I think it should be removed. 2.138.21.127 (talk) 13:40, 1 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have worked with sister Dr. Teresa Forcades from 1993-1995 when she was a medical resident at state University of New York at Buffalo for her training. I was her intern, and also a Colleague. She was very dedicated and passionate resident. I have always respected her opinions and she had quite a lot of them. I have followed her work which she did on the half of women's right. She was an honest, dedicated and a great person to work with. I will continue to follow and support her work. I am not from Spain, I am from Pakistan and a Muslim by birth and sincerely respect her position statements. Dr. Salman Q. Questionable PhD in 2004

[edit]

The article claims that "In 2004 she obtained a doctorate in public health from the University of Barcelona". However:

BBC 100 Women

[edit]

@Sintegrity believes that everyone who participated in the BBC 100 Women program should have a blurb promoting it in their article and a category to match. I do not agree; the programme does not seem to be any sort of an award, honour or ceremony; it's just a glorified panel discussion. Having 100 women every year sort of dilutes any distinctive nature it may carry. The category itself has undergone WP:CFD twice due to its contentious nature. It is clearly not a WP:DEFINING aspect of these women's biographies. I propose to leave it out as WP:UNDUE and WP:PROMOTIONAL as something only the BBC is covering, and therefore a lack of third-party, non-self-serving coverage. A new issue on Sinclètica School

[edit]

I would like to add a short paragraph with new information on the activity started by Teresa Forcades in Catalonia, it is shared via streaming. May I insert it directly? Only say that is a corrected version by an English spoke person! Thank you Siculena (talk) 17:20, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Section to add

[edit]

Sinclètica School

Teresa F. recently launched an ambitious educational project in the form of a master's degree that covers a multitude of works in the history of humanity, in areas as varied as music, literature, fine arts, science, philosophy or politics, and exposes, through a feminist perspective, theological and biblical thought from Judeo-Christian and Sufi perspectives.

The students receive a list of proposals in the form of images, videos, and readings through the Sinclètica online campus, with the task to write about the theme in question, receiving feedback from both faculty and students.

Each teacher opens a topic, a pearl, chosen from their own experience related to each of subjects that will be considered collectively over the weekend.

Time and space are established after the classes for reflection and exchange between the students with the opportunity to establish later a dialogue with the faculty about any doubts or ideas that have arisen.

All the classes and assignments are in English, and the sessions are held in person and on Zoom, for those unable to attend. Each session is recorded and later subtitled in English, Spanish and Catalan. Siculena (talk) 17:01, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked?!

[edit]

Hello, I pasted one paragraph here at the talk page about new activities currently offered by T. Forcades in order to renew a little the information on the page. I tried to add it as a sub-article but I have been blocked and no answer received. When looking for some information to publish I felt lost among such amount of instructions. May someone help to me, please?? Siculena (talk) 08:47, 20 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
