Untitled[edit]

The territories of Congo DRC were mentioned 129 in total without their names given, however it is in correct. There are a total of 199 territories so far and I have added there names too. Anyone has any suggestions or questions is welcome. The information I entered is valid and official as I myself am working on Geographical Classification of Congo DRC.Adeelzafarbioid 04:05, 10 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed the name format - all caps is bad. Could you possibly group the names into their respective province? Also, do you know of any current map that I could update the boundaries to make more detailed maps? Thank you! Rarelibra 04:52, 10 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for the format fixing. I would suggest one thing. The 11 provinces are divided into 52 districts and then the distrcits are subdivided into 199 territories and then into about 1500+ sectors. For the sectors i am waiting for Government's approval as there is no formal documentation yet. However I can send you an excel file containing all the provinces, their districts and subdivided territories. Can you please manage to do it properly as i don't have enough time to do this due to work pressure. And how can i contact you to send the list if you can do it. I created a list on the French Wikipedia two years ago : fr:Liste des provinces, villes, communes, districts et territoires en République démocratique du Congo. You will you find most of the details you are looking for on this page. About the number of territories (129 or 199), I would say 129, but you must add the Communes, which are parts of the Cities. Communes + Territories probably reach a total of about 199. Most of the territories which are listed on this page are indeed Communes.
