Aislin was not the first artist to be criticized by Parliament. The creators of 1950s crime comics were criticized as was Barnett Newman and his Voice of Fire. I suggest the qualifier be removed here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.224.222.253 (talk) 03:08, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

could some one start a Duncan Macpherson article?

Self portrais from the McCord Museum

[edit]

I was on the McCord museum website http://www.mccord-museum.qc.ca/scripts/search_results.php?keywords=aislin&Lang=1 and they have a large collection of his drawings. I wanted to include a self portrait perhaps, or maybe another cartoon for use in this article about him. They are licensed under the CC 2.5 Canada license, is that good enough for Wikipedia, or do we need them to be CC 3.0? Oaktree b (talk) 03:00, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Edits to this page

[edit]

I am planning on making a few edits to the article in the coming weeks. I plan on reorganizing the life and career section by adding some historical context. I am going to create a new heading "Famous works and collections" where I will include more information about certain exhibitions where his work has been featured. Furthermore, I will also include some more recent controversies in the Controversy section as well as develop the 2010 controversy that has been listed on the page.
