Robert Plant

[edit]

Does anyone know who sings the "little drops of rain..." line - it doesn't sound like Robert Plant. Thanks. --Mark (Talk | Contribs | Email) 22:09, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah I came to this article to find that out too... I've always envisioned it to be John Paul Jones, you know, because theres nothing the guy can't do!

Actually, I was thinking it was Bonzo, as Jonesy doesn't have that great of a voice (look up the live performance of "Battle of Evermore" with Jonesy doing Sandy Denny's part) but it is possible, as he has done harmonies in other places. this was jimmy page doing the vocal harmony —Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.196.48.32 (talk) 10:31, 2 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Changed the genre...

[edit]

Sorry for not consulting first, but I think it's pretty bloody obvious that this is a folk rock song and not a hard rock number. CheezerRox4502 (talk) 18:53, 31 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

folk rock!!!!!!!!!!why

note the difference between it and gallows pole

this is not a totally acoustic track man and it involves hammond organ,it is a classic rock/hard rock song

folk has nothing to do with it actually —Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.196.48.32 (talk) 10:32, 2 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This article is very confusing

[edit]

It says int he overview it was written by Page and Plant. And in the info box, under the genre it says written by: Page/plant. But the description says, "the first song written entirely bby Robert Plant". So what is it? Because it says two different things. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.255.22.231 (talk) 23:02, 18 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The radio stuff seems confusing too, and a little unnecessary. Why does the article say there is no gap between Thank You and Heartbreaker? I'm not sure about the CD, but on the LP Thank You concludes side one and Heartbreaker begins side two. I have never heard Thank You on the radio anyway, and I'm sure it wouldn't be played with Heartbreaker; they are two completely different songs. FaclonsFan (talk) 22:20, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

=== I think its referring to the lyrics being written by Plant. --RobertGary1 (talk) 17:35, 14 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Soft and art

[edit]

The song is not plain rock. Sorry if the change is disruptive or if you disagree. The song borrows influences from folk, jazz, blues, classical and rock just like the stylistic origins of art rock. The song is also very soft therefore i changed it to soft rock which has a lot of influence from folk rock — Preceding unsigned comment added by Theunknown901921 (talkcontribs) 12:01, 25 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
