Hello, I'm Azealia911 and I'll be reviewing this good article nomination. I'll be posting my review soon. Azealia911 talk 13:09, 8 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • @CaliforniaDreamsFan:, I'm honestly so sorry at the mess that this review has become and that you've now been disappointed twice. This review was opened nearly two months ago and it's unfair to delay the review any longer (I fully accept that this is largely my fault). I have a few hours to myself so I'm going to review this now. Azealia911 talk 00:10, 26 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

General comment[edit]

  • Make sure the 'M' in 'AllMusic' is capitalized every time.

Lead and infobox[edit]

  • Cover art needs an alt.
  • Remove the '0' in the length parameter.
  • "It was released by Parlophone" → "It was released by Parlophone Records"
  • "released in Europe, the United Kingdom, and Australasia," → "released in Europe, and Australasia," (The UK is in Europe, hehe)
  • "included all of Minogue's studio albums from the years 2000 to 2010." → "included all of Minogue's studio albums from the years 2000 to 2010; Light Years (2000), Fever (2001), Body Language (2003), X (2007), and Aphrodite (2010)."
  • "untill her October 2012 release, K25: Time Capsule." → "until her October 2012 release, K25: Time Capsule."
  • "Scottish Albums Chart at 40" → "Scottish Albums Chart at number 40"

Background and packaging[edit]

  • "that EMI would be releasing a five-CD box set." I thought Parlophone released it?
  • You don't need to cite reference 9 after each sentence, you can simply use it at the end of the first paragraph and first sentence in the second.
  • Link hidden track.
  • "bilingual-altered" → "bilingually-altered"

Critical reception[edit]

  • Express.co.uk → Daily Express
  • Unlink 'Music journalism' from any organizations that don't have their own pages in the infobox.
  • "The Albums 2000–2010 received positive reviews from most reviewers." Needs source.
  • "A uncredited reviews" → "A writer from"
  • "from Stagezine.com" → "from Stagezine"
  • Again, Express.co.uk → Daily Express
  • "charisma, and lacked a "great voice"" → "charisma, and thought that she lacked a "great voice""

Commercial response[edit]

  • I'm not seeing the source for "sold 3,729 units".
  • Sorry, but I fail to see how "The first week sales for The Albums 2000-2010 increased her 3.362 million album sales in the United Kingdom in July 2011, with a total of 10.2 million overall sales by October 2012." is relevant, especially since the 10.2 million figure is described as singles sales (The Official Biggest Selling Female Singles Artists of All Time are as follows). However I understand removing it may make the section too short. Perhaps the solution is to remove the aforementioned text, merge the commercial and critical reception sections together and title it 'Reception'?
  • "The box set debuted" → "The Albums 2000–2010 also debuted"

Track listing[edit]

  • Would it be possible to get some sources here to back up this section?

Weekly charts[edit]

  • 'Charts' seems like a simpler section header, especially as there's no need to disambiguate between weekly and year-end charts.
  • Sortable tables seems unnecessary when there's only two entries.

Release history[edit]

  • Remove the ! scope="row" from America's date.
  • For the label parameter, [[Warner Music Group]]; Rocket Records{{Hlist|[[Warner Music Group]]|Rocket}}

References[edit]

  • Please fix any WP:DASH violations.
  • #2 – PopMatters should be in italics.
  • #8 – Dead link, add the archived link currently in the section below.
  • #14 – Surely there's at least one secondary source you can replace citation this with?
  • #15 – AllMusic shouldn't be in italics.
  • #16 – Express.co.ukDaily Express
  • #17 – Unpipe 'Music journalism'

External links[edit]

  • If the original link is dead, I see no reason to keep it around, this isn't a citation, so ""The Albums 2000–2010" at Kylie Minogue's official site" seems more appropriate.

  • *sighs* there we go! Take as long as you need to address my comments. Azealia911 talk 01:05, 26 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Azealia911: Thank you very much for your time! Don't worry, I have a lot of life stuff going on too. Didn't have an issue waiting for a review. I've finished with all the comments, hope this helps! CaliforniaDreamsFan (talk · contribs}

Follow-up comments
  • Make sure the 'M' in 'AllMusic' is capitalized every time.
  • Daily Express should be in italics.
  • Per Template:Cite web, do not use markup text in references, for example, you've made several of the album titles italic, and used "publisher=". You've also used Template:Noitalics which is disallowed. I know it may look odd, but you will just have to learn to live with letting all work paramters being italics, and not using publisher parameters for works (EG, Popmatters is a work, it may not be italic normally, but in a ref it's just the way it is. Please apply this to all references. Azealia911 talk 08:29, 5 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Azealia911:; I have managed to finish all of the comments you have followed-up on. However, just for future reference, you say I cannot use the No Italics template and everything has to be in italics by using the works parameters. If so, what do I do to italize the album title in the |title= parameter? And do I have to apply this method to online sources as well? Cheers CaliforniaDreamsFan (talk · contribs} 22:32, 12 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Passing, as for italics in references, I never use them. I can't find a way of making things italic without using markup, which isn't allowed. Azealia911 talk 15:42, 17 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
