Requested move

[edit]

"The Alliance" can refer to a good deal of things. Off the top of my head, we have The Alliance between Elves, Humans, and Dwarfs from Warcraft; the Rebel Alliance from Star Wars, and the Sino-American Alliance from Firefly. I certainly don't think these are more worthy of having the namespace; however, I don't see this one minor wrestling group as having an overwhelmingly clear reason to be "The Alliance", over all the rest. I suggest we move this to Alliance (wrestling), and redirect The Alliance to just Alliance. Nedlum (talk) 21:41, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Agree - I agree that The Alliance is a very broad term and it shouldn't refer to just an angle in a wrestling storyline. However, they should be refered to in the namespace as The Alliance (wrestling) or The Alliance (professional wrestling) since they were referred to as The Alliance in the storyline. After all, The Alliance also has listed under Alliance as a dance hall, a political group in Hong Kong, and an episode of The Office. Those are my suggestions...What do you think? Yes. The Alliance (wrestling) would probably be better. Nedlum (talk) 01:59, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I WP:BOLDly moved the page, redirected The Alliance to Alliance, and changed all links to The Alliance to The Alliance (wrestling). Which was a rather large job actualy. I'll remove it from requested moves for now, but things can always still change, and moved elsewhere. Martijn Hoekstra (talk) 12:27, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kurt Angle's status

[edit]

Shouldn't the asterisk be removed from Kurt Angle's name as he did some commentary work for ECW before the Alliance, and thus "appeared" with them? Thoughts, guys? Lemon Demon (talk) 00:17, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Booker T

[edit]

Booker T gets wcw title for 1 time in WWF. Why add "2 times"? --Shinkazamaturi (talk) 10:57, 7 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

He was champion twice. — Richard BB 15:21, 7 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
