Thyestes

[edit]

This legend seems reminiscend of the ancient legend of Thyestes. The enemy of Thyestes slaughtered the man's sons and then cooked them. Offering them as food to their father, who unknowingly ate them. Dimadick (talk) 06:17, 15 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you take a look at the sources, you will see this article has considerable scope for expansion, with the myth appearing in many different cultures. I was planning to do some expansion myself before the article was promoted to a DYK slot, but because it was promoted quickly I didn't have the time.
