Another day, another boat race

Lead[edit]

  • Since the lead is very short, maybe just a quick mention of the overall tally of wins (as mentioned in the body) could go in here
Done. The Rambling Man (talk) 13:42, 4 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Background[edit]

  • Per earlier reviews, a description of the different Blues would be useful
Done. The Rambling Man (talk) 13:42, 4 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • "the "dead heat" of 1877" - could be linked to the article in question
Done.. although trying to avoid Easter eggs, would you prefer the whole thing to be linked rather than just 1877? The Rambling Man (talk) 13:42, 4 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I think that would be for the best. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 13:43, 4 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Done deal. The Rambling Man (talk) 13:45, 4 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Race[edit]

  • I think this is the first Boat Race GAN where I've not seen any quotations in this section. While you shouldn't go overboard with quotes, one or two do make this section more interesting than just a bland commentary of who went where. For a race such as this, which was pretty uneventful, it would be even more useful.
Found a quote about the mediocrity of the crews... Added. The Rambling Man (talk) 13:42, 4 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Summary[edit]

Not much to this one - a fairly dull race by the account here. Anyway, on hold. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 13:31, 4 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Indeedy, thanks again, I've addressed and responded to all your comments above. The Rambling Man (talk) 13:42, 4 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. Passed. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 13:46, 4 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
